INFORMATION:

This 40' Double Sheathed Wood Reefer with Vertical Brake Wheel is painted brown with yellow sides and black lettering.  The Missouri, Kansas & Eastern Railway was incorporated February 10, 1892 in the State of Missouri.  The MKE was owned by The Southwestern Company and was registered as a Class I Railroad.  The Southwestern Company was an affiliate of the KATY Line and the MKE was finally merged with the KATY on June 1st, 1896.
