This 40' Standard Box Car with Single Doors is painted blue with yellow lettering.  This car was built in 1945, and was part of a fleet of 50 Class XM box cars which were oriiginally  painted box car red with white lettering.  This car received its blue and yellow paint scheme when it was serviced in October of 1956.  The railroad did not change the cars road number when it was repainted.  The FEC was formed in the year 1885 as a narrow gauge railroad at Jacksonville, Florida.
