This 36' Wood Sheathed Ice Reefer complete with Steel Truss Underframe is painted black with dark brown sides and sports a white heart promoting the "Iowa's Pride" slogan with large white Billboard lettering.  "Morell" lettering is outlined in white with a distinctive two tone coloring.  The Billboard Car Side Advertising was used exclusively by meat packers, breweries and producers of food products from the mid teens through to 1938.  This car was built in September of 1918.
