This 40' Standard Box Car with Single Door is painted bright orange with dark brown lettering.  The road number is lettered in white.  The road name "Great Northern" is painted across the entire side of the car in "Billboard" style lettering painted dark brown.  Also, as previous cars released in this series, white reflector dots are printed along the bottom of the car.  This is the 8th car of a 10 car series that was released in the GN Circus Trains Car Series.  This car was originally built in September of 1949 and was later serviced in April of 1956.  Great Northern introduced a number of different paint schemes and car side layouts, just to test the shippers and the public, looking for feedback to be presented to determine each individual cars popularity, success or failure.  This led to these cars being known as the Great Northern Cicus Car Series.
