This 39' Single Dome Tank Car is painted dark navy blue with white lettering.  This 7,865 gallon, Class ICC 103AW tank car was built in May of 1958 and used by MRL in maintenance of way service.  The Flying "W" emblem is the symbol of MRL's parent company, the Washington Corporation.  By its class designation this car, MRL 100016, is barred from use in hauling any high toxic items, flamable liquids or phosphoric acid.  Its roller bearing trucks suggest it was used in high-speed non-interchange service.
