This 40' Drop Bottom Gondola is painted box car red and sports a large white "SOO LINE" lettering with white stencilling.  This is one of 100 odd-numbered cars in this build series.  A few of these hard working cars actually survived into the 1980's  Many of the cars from this build series found duty transporting  wood products and spent their time operating between pulp and paper mills in the State of Wisconsin.
