This 39' Single Dome Tank Car is painted maroon with yellow lettering.  It sports the Chicago Great Western Circle Logo painted orange with white border showing black lettering.  This tanker was built at the American Car & Foundry Co.  Chicago Great Western color coded their fleet of 42 large capacity tankers (18,975 gallons) to identify the different types of commodities carried.  The colors used were black, bright red, maroon, box car red, Penn Central Green and Silver.
