This Heavyweight Depressed Center Flat Car is painted black with white lettering.  This freight car design requires 245,000 lb. capacity, 3-axles and six-wheel trucks.  The heavy duty trucks are for use on high capacity flat cars, gondolas, wreck cranes and locomotive tenders.  This car series was prohibited operations on third rail territories due to the low side sill of the flat car.
