INFORMATION:

This 40' Standard Box Car with Plug Door and No Roofwalk is car # 21  of  a  44  car series representing each of the Presidents of the United States.  It bears the portrait of the 31st President, Herbert Hoover.  Hoover is the last Cabinet Secretary to be directly elected President, as well as being one of two Presidents (along with Taft) to have been elected without electoral experience or high military ranking.  He was also a professional mining engineer and author of more than 16 separate books.
