This 40' Depatch Stock Car is painted Great Northern " Big Sky Blue" and large white "Great Northern" letters with white stenciling.  Originally 145 single deck cars were built as 40' Double Sheathed Wood Box Car between 1937 and 1942 as was this car, however it was rebuilt into a 40' Despatch Stock Car 56421 in March of 1942.  It was one of the few stock cars serviced and repainted "Big Blue Sky" blue paint in July of 1969.
