INFORMATION:

This 39' Single Dome Tank Car is painted black with white lettering.  The Seaboard owned a small number of tank cars used for transporting fuel oil for company use.  They ran in dedicated service and were considered (MOW) Maintenance-Of-Way equipment.  The Seaboard Air Lline Railroad styled itself "The Route Of Courteous Service" and was an American railroad from April 14, 1900 until July 1, 1967, when it merged with the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad to form the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad.
