This 34' Wood Sheathed Caboose with Slanted Cupola was originally painted box car red in early 1910 through to 1947 at which time they were all finally repainted armor yellow with red accents and lettering.  This car continued to serve Union Pacific all the way into the late 1960's.  They supplied office space, employee quarters, and tool and supply storage space.
