This 70' Heavyweight Mail Baggage Car is painted maroon with a black roof and gold buff lettering.  In a Country as large as Canada, Mail Baggage Cars provided an important communication link between communitites.  These cars had a 30' mail room that was separate from the general freight compartment for security and could be found with other RPO's and Baggage Cars at the head of a passenger car consist.
