INFORMATION:

This 39' Single Dome Tank Car is painted, in the very popular, "Sloan Yellow" so reminiscent of the 1940's and 1950's Katy rolling stock.  This car was repainted and labeled as carrying water.  Tankers such as this had a very long life in carrying normal petroleum products and later served as very valuable MOW equipment for many years after.

This car was introduced  at the 18th N Scale Collector (NSC) Convention in Sugarland, Texas in 2010. .
