This 50' Standard Box Car with Plug Door and No Roofwalk is painted dark blue with white sides and black lettering.  The road name "Hamms" is painted red in script lettering.  Leased from the American Car Corporation, this insulated car wears the 1971 Hamm paint scheme.  This car was one of 100 cars to receive this paint scheme in March of 1971.  These Class RBL cars are equipped with load dividers and fork lift truck pallets which are considered part of the car.  The Theodore Hamm Brewing Company was established in 1865 by German immigrant Theodore Hamm and was headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota.  By the 1880's the brewery was the second largest in Minnesota.  All Hamm's brands are now brewed by the Miller Brewing Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
