This 2 Bay ACF Center Flow Covered Hopper with Round Hatches is painted Gray with black lettering and supporting the Union Pacific red, white and blue emblem.  This car is a Class CH-100-233 hopper.  This unit was built by American Car & Foundry in October of 1967.  Union Pacific purchased Chicago Norhwestern in April of 1995.  In August of 1996 this car was repainted to reflect that change of ownership.  The ACF Center Flow design is more compact than the cylindrical hopper cars.  This car has an LO Classification, four 30" round hatches and two gravity feed outlets.
