This 40' Despatch Stock Car with Single Door is painted red with white masked sides.  Lettering is white and black on red placards.  It was built in 1958 and serviced in September 1981.  The cars featured eight panels per side.  Stock cars that were shoped before 1968 were left in their original freight car brown with white lettering, cars that were shoped after 1968 received the new CP action red and white paint scheme.  The lower portion of the stock car sides were painted whtie to camouflage the lime spray that was used to disinfect the cars after cleaning.
