This 40' Standard Box Car with Double Doors is painted Pullman green with white lettering and large slanted "Great Northern" on the right side of the car.  In 1956 the Great Northern decorated 10 box cars in experimental paint schemes and sent them around the GN system for feedback.  Some of the paint schemes were incredibly loud and garish for the day thus earning them the moniker "Circus Cars".  The project was successful as GN did adopt a few of the paint schemes in future car decorations.
