INFORMATION:

This 40' Standard Box Car with Single Door is painted green with yellow lettering.  This car was built in April of 1953, and was repainted in this rocket paint scheme at the Peoria Shops on May 10, 1958.  The TP&W offered an alternate route to avoid the congestion of the Chicago Terminals.  Operating as a subsidiary of both the PRR and ATSF back in the 1960's, the 300 mile road was finally merged with Santa Fe in 1983.
