This 40' Standard Box Car with Single Door is painted red  with grey lettering.  The road number is lettered in grey.  The road name "Great Northern" is painted on the right side of the car in "Billboard" speed  lettering painted grey.  Also, as previous cars released in this series, white reflector dots are printed along the bottom of the car.  This is the 5th car of a 10 car series that was released in the GN Circus Trains Car Series.  This car was originally built in August of 1949 and was later serviced in April of 1956 to be reweighed for new trucks at the St. Cloud Shops in Minnesota.  Great Northern put together this set of 40' Boxcars in various colors and lettering to test the reaction of shippers and customers to a "New Look".  This led to these cars being known as the Great Northern Cicus Car Series.
