This 50' Flat Car with Fishbelly Sides and Side Mounted Brake Wheel is painted Tuscan Red with yellow lettering.  This car was active during the Union Pacific's "Road of the Streamliners" era.  One Hundred & Fifty (150) years ago, Abraham Lincoln signed into power the Pacific Railway Act of 1862, allowing the Union Pacific Railway to set forth on their incredibly ambitious journey.  The Union Pacific, with headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, operated as the largest Class-I Premier Railroad in the United States.  It covered a total of 23 States and serviced over two-thirds of the land mass of the United States.
