This 36' Wood Sheathed Ice Reefer complete with Steel Truss Underframe is painted brown with gray sides and blue/yellow "checkerboard scheme" painted on the sides of the car.  Lettering is blue and white with red vertical stripes shown on the side of the car.  This car was built by the American Car & Foundry Co. in the early 1900's and runs on Andrews Trucks.  The Kingan Refrigerator Line owned and operated by Kingan & Company of Indianapolis, had almost 600 meat reefers in their fleet.
